Eagle Creek Reservoir is a 1,400-acre water-supply reservoir within Eagle Creek Park on Indianapolis's northwest side — making it one of the largest urban park reservoirs in the United States. Operated by Indianapolis Parks and stocked by Indiana DNR, the reservoir holds quality largemouth bass, hybrid striped bass, walleye, crappie, and bluegill. The 4,000+ acre park surrounding it includes shore fishing access, picnic areas, hiking trails, and a marina. A 10 hp motor limit applies. Eagle Creek is one of the most accessible quality fisheries for Indianapolis-area anglers — no boat required, with multiple shore fishing piers and platforms.
