Morse Reservoir is a 1,500-acre water-supply reservoir on Cicero Creek in Hamilton County, just north of Noblesville. Like Geist, it's owned by Citizens Energy Group and supports a dense suburban tournament-bass scene. The lake's many coves, docks, and submerged structure produce quality largemouth bass year-round. Hybrid striped bass stocking has yielded fish into the high teens. Crappie and walleye fishing is also reliable. Morse is an open-horsepower reservoir with heavy summer recreational traffic, so idle-speed zones apply in the upper arms and near the beaches — early mornings and weekdays fish best.

Regulations for Morse Reservoir
No horsepower limit. Idle-speed (no-wake) zones apply north of 236th Street, near Carrigan Road, west of Little Chicago Road, and in the upper arms; boats are excluded within 300 ft of the dam spillway and within 200 ft of the South Harbor and Morse Park beaches (312 IAC 5-9-3). Standard Indiana DNR fishing regulations apply.
